(Mediaite) -- Last week, actress Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted a picture of herself with Kanye West and Jay-Z
with the caption “N**gas in Paris.” This set off a huge firestorm with
people hurling accusations of racism her way. Wait until these same
people find out her Iron Man co-star once performed in blackface!
Bill Maher dismissed the whole thing as a stupid internet controversy, and
suggested that if you were looking for a good example of what a racist
is actually like, you need only make your way over to the Drudge Report.
Maher said that “the problem with racism is not Gwyneth Paltrow, the
problem with racism is Matt Drudge.” He pointed to a few examples of
Drudge posting angry pictures of black men on the site including Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, and Michael Jordan. Maher concluded, “This is racism in America.”
